The Toronto Black Film Festival  https://torontoblackfilm.com  kicks off today (Feb 10th-21st) Online because of the Covid-19 pandemic.  The festival , founded by Fabienne Colas,  celebrates & showcase the most outstanding, powerful Black films while creating a space to debate major cultural, social and socio-economic issues..  154 films from 25 countries can be seen on line.  Two of those films premiering at the festival involves award-winning Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) member, Guyanese born Canadian filmmaker, “Ryan Singh” tinyurl.com/1q7grhso  about his career, upcoming projects and his two movies    “H.E.N.R.I”  tinyurl.com/5y5l4w4m and “ESSENCE”  tinyurl.com/5ahefnp6 .
